Deployed to the hardest-hit zone. Moved $172M in relief and drove repairs of over 1,000 roofs in 15 days; set up the first recovery centers in the state where people who lost everything could get assistance.

Puerto Rico after Maria

Reset FEMA's broken system. Delivered $400M in assistance and streamlined housing assessments, cutting the timeline by three months for over 680,000 inspections. Launched a housing program (VALOR) that rebuilt 1,000 homes at a tenth of the usual cost.
